Extended level set method: A multiphase representation with perfect symmetric property, and its application to multi-material topology optimization

چکیده
This paper provides an extended level set (X-LS) based topology optimization method for multi-material design. In the proposed method, each zero of a function ϕab represents boundary between materials and b. A change sign corresponds to material two materials. approach reduces dependence initial configuration in calculation simplifies sensitivity analysis. First, problem is formulated X-LS representation. Next, reaction–diffusion equation that updates introduced, algorithm solves equilibrium equations using finite element constructed. Finally, validity utility are confirmed two- three-dimensional numerical examples.
